John A Gosnell, a former citizen of Nashville, has received a patent on a thimble he invented which cuts thread and buttonholes.

William T. Littlefield, a charter member of Oak Hill Lodge No 393, died January 19, 1916.  He was born in Etowah County, Ala., May 26, 1837.
